    Hi all,

I own a Vaio VNG-CS20, few days ago my OS Vista crashed and I had to run a recovery tool to restore the OS. Before I did that, I thought I might try first to reset the BIOS by taking out and putting back the CMOS battery (so it might solve the curated OS). On the way while doing that I also disconnected the hard drive and the memory sticks. After returning everything back in place, the computer acts as dead! No lights, no sign of life, when I press the power button nothing literally happen. In order to diagnose what cause the laptop to be dead, I replaced the memory sticks with others that works, that didn't solve anything. Then I replaced the hard drive with a working one, also, no luck. Then I replaced the CMOS battery with a working one and no luck. I cannot thing of anything that might cause it to die... The computer behaved normally few moments ago.

    Other things I tried:
    - took out the main battery and pressing the power button for one minute
    - made sure the charger is green lighted

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    John.
