Vaio VPC-Exx Model 15.5" Core i5/i7[ATI5xx GPU]

okay so there was no mention of these laptops at CES and no one else noticed these but to some lucky fellow who stumbled upon this website in the CW Owners thread found a good load of details for pre-config models
Now Sony hasnt released these models nor made any mention of it so i dont know if these are offical or not but looks like it is so here we go

I think it newer version of BZ serie or NW serie based on the screen they use. I personally think it will be the newer version of BZ serie since those laptop use the code name EB1 (Like FW --> F11, So BZ becomes B1)

I like it. Plus they have the CW listed with a 330GT, which is also nice. Would love to see an S with a 330GT, that would be heaven.

On the list, there are VPC-B11 series and VPC-EB1 series. B11 uses 15.4" screen and comes with 3-year warranty, so I would think B11 replaces BZ. EB1, with its 15.5" screen and 1-year warranty, probably is replacement for NW.

One other thing, there is no new S series in the list, and Best Buy just annouced a Sony new S to be their exclusive blue label laptop. I hope it doesn't mean we are not getting S here in US except from Best Buy, merely Best Buy signed some special deal with Sony to get the exclusive release right for the first couple weeks.

 

From the Z series mentioned in the list there are definitely new ssd's used according to the size (192 G /384 G). So maybe the quad SSD rumor is true?

 

Just bought an F series and i stumbled upon this thread. I guess i'll have to wait till the mid of january to see if these EB series will come with ati 5000 cards. the The new I5-7 processors are listed in the sony business site but all are configured with intel video though. Any more info anyone?
