The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Do share the name of your reseller. There's a separate thread for this somewhere on NBR but it would be of great help to Sony Vaio buyers. I would kill to have a reseller to dump my machine on when there are problems and they will deal with Sony!

    It is a local store in Germany. I am afraid but I doubt that they will accept your notebook without having it purchased there. Nonetheless I will sent the stores web page to anyone who asks.

    Offtopic: Are there really no PMs on NBR? Says I don't have enough privileges.

    You need to have somewhere around 10-15 posts before you can do PMs. Dumb rule but easily satisfied.
