I am searching, unsuccessfully, all over Sony's redesigned site for detailed specs on their VPCCA290X CTO laptop.

If you can point me to the URL, that'd be much appreciated. Sony's redesign leaves some consequential info out/missing which is quite frustrating to say the least.

It configures nicely, and for it's price, seems to have some decent value.

I am replacing a Sony VGNFZ190N that is now 4 years old and has runf falwlessly for those 4 years. I use my laptop for work and it's on 5 days a week minimum for 8+ hours per day. This laptop has been rock solid and that's what I'm seeking again.

I have looked at the HP Envy 14 but for its price, $999, it lacks a high res screen.

Here's my current config for the VPCCA290X CTO. Price as configed is $1029.99 (without any discounts which I'm sure Sony will throw in when I ask).

i was finally able to find them by clicking in site search which takes you to the old sony pages for each product.

specifically, i was seeking, weight, size and ports info for this unit.

while a nice unit, i'm concerned that it weighs around 5.41#

The 5.41 figure is probably with the sheet battery. Without, it's somewhere in the 3 range.
