hi
the last graphics driver to support the 3** cards is from july last year 340.52
all the newer drivers do not support sony
full list http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
340.52 64bit http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/77228/en-us
open the driver page and read the supported product tab and the additional info tab.
Exceptions:
- Notebooks supporting Hybrid Power technology are not supported (NVIDIA Optimus technology is supported).
- The following Sony VAIO notebooks are included in the Verde notebook program: Sony VAIO F Series with NVIDIA GeForce 310M, GeForce GT 330M, GeForce GT 425M, GeForce GT 520M or GeForce GT 540M. Other Sony VAIO notebooks are not included (please contact Sony for driver support).

Download the driver. Mod the inf. I think you've already done this.
Download NFR (nasty file remover) or driversweeper or equivalent.
Disconnect from the internet.
Uninstall the currently installed driver. You may have to manually choose to install the standard VGA driver if Windows keeps installing the old driver.
Run NFR or driversweeper and clean the system of old nVIDIA driver files.
If you are asked to reboot during any of this, check in device manager that SVGA driver is still installed.
Disable driver signature enforcement. You only need to do this during driver installation, since only the modded inf is unsigned. Once the driver is installed, you can go back to normal operation. Might be a good idea to disable UAC also at this time.
Now install the driver. You should get a warning about unsigned driver. Choose to install it anyway.
You might get a black screen. If so, wait a few minutes until you are sure the driver has finished installing, then reboot.
This is the way to deal with difficult drivers. You might not need all the above steps.the b2k likes this. -

Go with the 340.52 like MrDJ said. Once you have that working, you can try later ones if you feel like it.
Install the driver and allow it to fail to install. It will leave a folder on your C drive, eg. C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\340.52
This post has the steps. It is for Windows 8. You'll need to disable signature enforcement like I said - Google for instructions on how to do it for Windows 7.

runned NFR.
disconnected internet.
checked that SVGA driver is still installed. (it was installed)
Disabled driver signature enforcement with F8 button while restarting.
Tried to disable UAC , but its value was already 0. (so disabled)
Installed driver. Modified nv_dispi with
Pieter's INF version 5.007 from http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/31011-v34052-windows-8-64bit-nvidia-mobile-quadro-oem/
for v340.52 (it says windows 8 but people say all compatible. win8 INF = win7 INF )
And runned setup again. I clicked installed it anyway.
And boooom.. All the time i got same failure. It says:
HD AUDIO DRIVER 1.3.30.1 NOT INSTALLED
Graphic Driver 340.52 Failed
NVIDIA Geforce Experience 2.1.1 Not installed.
He we start again, and again and again.
I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO with this
Any more idea?Last edited: Feb 22, 2015 -
Where are you running setup from? Don't run it from the folder that contains the inf that you modded - go up to the parent folder and run it from there.
If it still doesn't work, open the inf in notepad and look for the entries for your hardware. If you can only find a partial match, change it to the exact hardware ID that you have posted above.
Try downloading the driver from nvidia.com and then edit the inf yourself. The nvidia site gives you the correct drivers. Otherwise there is confusion about verge and quadro etc. Select 330M there.the b2k likes this. -
For future problems like i had, i am sharing that %100 working modied INF.
And last question : Should I enable driver signature enforcement? or it should stay disabled ?Attached Files:

Great! Well done.
When I was on Windows 7 I could re-enable driver signature enforcement and UAC after the driver was installed. In Windows 8.1 I'm having to keep it disabled, and still the driver gets disabled every few days.
Try re-enabling it and see how it goes. If it works for you, keeping driver signature ON is a good thing. To keep it disabled all the time you have to run in test mode; unless you hack it, you'll see 'test mode' written on the bottom of your screen above the clock. -
