    Hello,

Looking for help to resolve an issue with my laptop eating up 1% of power while on battery every minute.

    Steps to resolve:
Called Sony support and talked to five different people and had two remote sessions take place before I was able to get support to move forward with the issue. I was told that a Sony laptop running on battery life with no applications should last about 1 hour on battery. After complaining on the phone that their explanation made no sense I was sent a new battery to try. Same issue with a new battery. Was asked to send the laptop to the service center in Texas. After a week I recieved the laptop back with a sheet stating that the machine was reimaged to resolve the issue. Now the system uses 2% per minute on battery with no applications running.

So I have two issues. The laptop is useless on battery and Sony support is 100% incompetent.

Anyone have suggestions on how to help me get my laptop repaired so I can give it away to a friend just to get it out of the house (in working condition)?

Sony is now officially on my do not buy list for being a below par product.
