    Vaio VPCS111FM DVD drive and touchpad questions

    1. Touchpad pointer motion is VERY short; to move cursor across screen side to side requires several finger motions across entire touchpad. Have reset BIOS, have double checked settings, cannot find anything amiss, but is extremely annoying. Cursor works normally with a wireless mouse.

    2. DVD burner will not complete data burns at all, am using DVD+RW discs, shown as compatible with the Mata UJ892AS drive; spent an hour on phone with Sony guy, no joy.

    Computer is about three weeks old.

    no idea sry, haven't tried DVDrw with mine yet, only DVDr.
