    Dears,

I get some pixel issues on my 1920*1080 Vaio VPCZ23 panel. There are some black or colored pixels. It started some weeks ago with a tiny black spot of some pixels (which did not matter to me near the bottom-left corner of the screen). But now, this line of pixels becomes larger every day. Yesterday it ended at the left side of the SONY logo, today it is already on the right side.
There was - as far as I now - no high pressure on the panel. The last days when the line increased, there was definitely no pressure on the panel, since the notebook has been located only on my desk for some days now. It is growing alone ;-).

    1. Did someone of you had a similar issue?
    2. Is there a chance to get the panel replaced by Sony, although the notebook is out of warranty (ended two months ago)?
    3. Is it possible to change the panel by myself? I can do some replacements on notebooks, but I never opened the "top" of the notebook, where the panel is located. So is it possible to change only the panel, or do I need a totally new "top" including webcam and frame?

    Thank you!

Yes to 1 and 3. I did it myself a few months ago. The thread on this forum for changing the display on my model helped me greatly. If you can't find the one that's for your model, take a look at that one.
