I have a vaio FE 790. Its been working fine for the last 2 years. now yesterday the screen just went distorted and then blank. now if i start it it gives me one long beep and 2 short beeps which indicates that the video controller is not working . I've tried to get into the bios and reset it but after restarting the screen gets distorted and gets blank.

since the video controller is built in on the motherboard so i guess i have to replace the board. please help me out if there is an alternate solution. i wanted to reset the bios by removing the cmos battey but i don't know where it is located, its not on the front speaker panel,i've checked it. so help me out.
