Installed in my Vaio VGN-Z11XRN solid drive Intel X25-M. In all tests it shows one of the best performance results. It should read up to 220mb/sec and write 70mb/sec. But not in my machine

    Bios: hacked R4043
    Drive firmware: 2CV102HD
    ACHI mode is set.
    OS: Windows7 x64

In my case I can see just 150mb/sec maximum.
    Where is the bottleneck ?

Tried to test in my stationary comp. Intel P35 in AHCI mode. Read speed was about 200mb/sec

Check device manager to see what UDMA your SSD is running.

From the benachmark it looks like you have only SATA 1.0 (150mb/s).
Maybe a bad implementation of the interface?

Have you tried other tools (AS SSD, ...)?

I cant get information what exactly interface it is using. But the next screenshot tells that sata 2.0 is used.
Here comes AS SSD benchmark. It is very strange too :)

    And CrystalDiskMark 2.2:

Isn't HDTune useless for SSDs? As far as I am aware it is.

By the way... why on earth did you partition your SSD?

That's a stupid thing to do, especially on a small one like yours.

The Intel SSD (and they are good) will only perform at maximum performance if less than 80% are in use - hence a single partition should give you more free space overall and allow for better speeds.
On a HDD you had the speed benefit of the first partition - you don't get that on a SSD.
And depending on which partition you use more, you'll wear out some parts of the SSD out faster than others - I don't think wear levelling works across partitions.

Well it was mentioned in the SSD thread many times. You better ask there.
