Hi all,
I have a Vaio Z VPCZ12ggx 8 GB Ram - Windows 7 Pro
I just did a factory reset because I thought it could help this problem. Nothing has changed.
It is very slow to come out of hibernation or sleep. Doesnt matter which one you set it too.
When you try and wake it up you get the top left corner cursor blinking.
It literally take 3 plus minutes to get back to windows.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance guys...

Is network boot enabled? Try disabling it in the BIOS.
There is a wifi driver update on the Intel website that's better than the one you get from Windows.
Try Andrew08's modded graphics driver - I use that all the time now, and have never looked back.
Run a benchmark on your HDD/SSD. Maybe an issue there. -
Also, for some reason not detecting usb hub or dvd player? it says insert dvd but it is inserted?? -

USB ports wear out and get loose - no contact/ poor contact. Try another port.
DVD drives deteriorate with age - dust/ sensor aging. Replace. Recommended: external DVD writer (keep wrapped in plastic bag; use only when needed).
