    Guys i have the vaio Z 13GN Highest End asian config without the blu ray drive
    Can you guys suggest the model number for the Blu Ray drive and where i could buy it from and replace in my Z

    Well, I'm not sure about the specs of your specific model; but the Blu Ray drive used in the Z series is the same model internationally. I just did a quick Google, but what you need to do is go to a website that specializes in notebook replacement parts and order the Blu Ray drive from there (I doubt you'll find anything on ebay, but if you wanna look there feel free). Replacement Z Series BD Drive -- this is the first site I pulled up, but you have to call for the price. Overall it should be pretty easy if you're willing to make some calls and shell out a little cash.

    There was a thread last year regarding with Z disassembly with pictures. Note that since Z is so thin, you need to remove the top casing of your new drive in order to make it fit.
