    Vaio Z Custom SSD to External SSD

    Is it possible to use the ssd as an external drive?? I have a vaio z which is broken (keyboard assembly)... hence wouldnt start.. i need to transfer my files over to the new comp...

    Also can i buy the keyboard assembly separately(palmrest and everything)??

    External drive, if you have a Z11 or 12 not so much, havnt been able to find a USB to sonys FPC connector device, if its a Z13 with Toshy SSDs yes its possible, but then your going to have raid issues.

    Find the part pertaining to your model, then go to https://www.servicesplus.sel.sony.com/sony-parts.aspx (you need to remove any dashes from the part number and put in VPC as the model prefix) to buy it.

    I dont know if there is a UK equiv for Sony parts, someone else might be able to help there, more info on your exact model would be useful tho.
