    what about the hard disk. Is it fixed, what if I want to change it?

    The Vaio Z uses a regular 2.5" HDD just like any other laptop.

    are you sure because the dealer in the sony store confirmed that it is a fixed one..

    he's wrong, it takes 10-15 min to replace it

    But replacing it yourself voids warranty. Plus, disassembling Z to get to the disk is not recommended without service manual.

    Why would this void warranty? I replaced a HDD with SSD before in my TZ and it didn't. But i agree that the service manual is really helpful.
