Works great for me, too. My only complaint is the usb port seems to be a little finicky about charging things.

Could you compare the size with the original adapter? Any advantages besides the USB charging feature? And what usb devices seem to be finicky?

It's much smaller. Although once you bundle up the wires it really doesn't save THAT much space. It is finicky with my iphone 4, but maybe there's a problem with my usb charge cable?

I think the sony slim charger they sell on sony.com might be a better solution considering the cable management.

Thanks for your answer. I checked the sony website for the adapter you mentioned, but I am unsure which one you meant. Nevertheless I really like the Coolermaster solution as its quite slim to fit into a handbag and it is also able to charge usb devices (although finnicky :) )

I got that travel adapter from Sony as a rebate, along with a docking station, mouse, and a notebook sleeve.

I agree with the reviews on amazon. The cord from the adapter to the laptop is extremely short (~4 in). They try to compensate by providing you an extra long cable that you plug into a wall outlet. The adapter would just dangle on the side if you try to use your laptop on your lap. Also, due to its compact size, the adapter runs worryingly hot...much much hotter than the regular power adapter that came with your laptop...

    Not recommended IMHO.

The Coolermaster USNA95 arrived today from amazon :)

I have tried it and it is working very good and is a better mobiel plug than the original Z´s!

Worth noting too that (at least acording to the specs on Sony's website), this isn't any lighter than the regular adapter. So basically it appears to be a less well thought out design, with no wieght advantages....
