I have a Vaio Z90US CTO, as indicated in my signature, that was built in Japan with the Japanese equivalent of Fresh Start (minimal software preloaded). The system came with Vista Ultimate in Japanese. I've read in other threads that people have burned their recovery discs (with the "s"). When I ran the Japanese version of Vaio Recovery Center I needed only one single layer DVD-R, not two. Do systems with Fresh Start require only one disc instead of two? I honestly can't be sure I followed the directions on my screen correctly since everything was in Japanese (although I can read a little). I guess what I am trying to ask is if only one DVD is normal on Fresh Start systems. Can anyone confirm?

That's odd. Then I guess what I need to ask is if anyone has used the Japanese version of Vaio Recovery Center and if they also only needed one disc. Anyone?
