    Hey guys,

I was going to get the fresh install but however Sony had a discount on pre-configured Vaio Z, so I bought it. I gave up on the 1080p screen though :(. Anyways, it came with all the Sony Vaio software crap.

So can anyone tell me if this software is worth having in comparison to what is installed.

Vaio Media Plus - Seems to be s/w to connect other computers or just Vaios. Windows 7 homegroup easily does this unless I am missing something with media plus.

Vaio Media Gallery - Sony's SW for music, video, photos. Is this any better than Windows Media Center on W7?

PMB Vaio Edition - I guess is nice to have if I ever want to edit movies or photos? Didnt really investigate this one.

I dont mind the software but if you guys think this is just crap SW utilizing resources, please let me know.

All are bull, delete it all! xD

    Alternatives:

Vaio Media Plus: Libraries are perfect as you said.
Vaio Media Gallery: XBMC, Boxee, Windows Media Center
PMB: Picasa, Adobe suite, Windows Movie Maker

I removed everything on the 3 Zs I maintain.
