It seems that I encounter a lot o problems with this new Vaio Z. In device manager everytihg seems to be ok except the Standard VGA Graphics Adapter which by the way has this error code: This device cannot start. (Code 10). Anyway, I guess that the above one is the actual graphics card and that one seems to be ok.

The display worked fine for 1 day but then I got this:

It appears that your Nvidia drivers are not installed? Try downloading official drivers from here and re-installing. Make sure 'speed' mode is selected.

    Hi, Neo871,

Wow. While this could indeed be a driver, it's not often that a driver gets magically uninstalled in one day. Coupled with what looks like a very messed up display that could well indicate a H/W problem with the nVidia card, this doesn't look good. By the way, don't install the drivers in Speed mode. Install the drivers with the Dynamic Graphics switch set to Auto, and then making sure that the Speed LED is lit.

If that doesn't cut it, you'll probably need to RMA the box. Sorry!

    Good Luck!
