    How is the Vaio Z's webcam quality while using Skype HD settings? I am thinking of getting one over a macbook pro, but the macbook pro has an amazing webcam, but it doesn't justify the extra ~$500.

    i think the vaio Z cam is comparable to a $5 one.

    don't expect too much from it since its small in size.

    It picture quality about .3M so it look crappy with lowlight.

    Unfortunately, he was not exaggerating either... Most LED panels have crappy webcams, be it Dell or Sony. The webcam on the SXPS 13 is actually even worse than the Sony Z series webcam. My girlfriend's white macbook webcam is superior to the PC competitors. I guess that's why Apple can charge a higher premium to their laptops as they tend to have better specs outside of the spec sheet.
