    Hey all,

This is indeed my first post. Reading through past posts have helped me decide on the purchase of the Z, and many little things that have helped along the way.

Now, I have an unusual problem I hope you guys can help with. I'm not sure honestly if it's the laptop, or the software, but here it is anyway..

It seems like the TouchPad doesn't respond to to certain drop-down menus, and some areas I just can't seem to click. Areas where I drag and a visual line is supposed to follow the cursor, it starts from a different originating point, and drags the line to an arbitrary place.

Now, I know that I can access these drop-down menus, as I am able to "TAB" over to them, and arrow over with the keyboard...

About the Program, It's Adobe CS5 Master Suite, original & Paid for copy (not a pirate version). I experience most of these issues in DreamWeaver.

I have tried to add a USB Mouse to see if I can click the regions I can't access, and that has not worked (just get the same problem). I've tried to update all the Adobe programs, and Also the TouchPad Driver, and neither have worked...

    About the Computer:
    Vaio Z (VPCZ1290S) i7 Processor

    TouchPad Driver:
    Synaptics TouchPad version: 14.0.16.0

I realize that this issue may be An Adobe Issue, but honestly I haven't had a chance to try the laptop out on another program to know if it's the Program or the laptop.

Any more additional info (Other driver Info etc.) needed, I can provide.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey MrBobo.

I am also a massive CS5 user and I could not reproduce your issue with my Z. On my computer, it is just running fine. I think this is 99,9% a software issue, so I would suggest to reinstall the CS5 Suite all over again and apply any software updates for drivers and windows.
