    Hi,

I've had my z series for two years now. I wasn't able to perform a clean install when i got it and slowly the applications have piled on. I've removed most of them but the computer is still very slow. It takes ages to load up and randomly crashes. Also, the harddrive/fan is constantly in use and causes a lot of noise.

I'm thinking about getting my laptop cleaned out but I dont want to lose my licensed copy of windows or my Kaspersky Internet Security license.

Is there anyway to get a clean install done? I made a full back up of my computer when i first got it and it filled up 3 DVDs so im sure they'll come in use.

    Thanks a lot!

Restoring from a backup or the recovery partition shouldn't mess with licensing/activation.
