The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. Pardon my ignorance, but is there any meaning to "10char" at the end of a post? is it a format command or do you type it and if so, why, what does it mean? Stupid sounding question, but I see it often across many NBR threads, not just Sony.

10char is a filler to fill up the 10 character requirement for a post.
