Just a quick question to all Z owners. When you against either the left or right side of the screen bezel, do you get a slight clicking sound? Bascially, its when you push the bezel against the back lid cover. I have one and was wondering if there is something loose on just my machine. Thanks in advance.

I got this on the left side...
I couldn't make out anything loose or see anything.
I can just hear and feel it...

Thanks for letting me know. I am worried that its a bent and/or broken metal clip. Mine is on the right side... i know its minor but at the same time I am worried that the bezel may fall apart later due to poor assembly.

Well I have my Z now since late September and it did not get worse...

Since I bought it in Germany it is covered for 2 years, so I don't worry...
In case it falls apart I will post it =D

My left side of my bezel did not close properly. I press hard and still got that tiny crevice.

So I take out the keyboard. Turn out that on the left side, there is some plastic thing that didnt fit in properly. So I snap it back in and now my bezel is flush.

I am comfortable opening my Z bc I just put in a 500 gig hd.

I believe so, yes... but not if the Sony engineers can't tell it's been touched - i.e. you put the original HDD back and make sure not to scratch any screw heads etc while working on it. ;)

There's a pretty good decription with pics of the steps required, but it's buried deep within the Z Owners thread. From memory, it's roughly around page 100.
