    Vaio Z11 and Z12 random crashes with accompanying high fan speed

    so it seems both models still suffer this random crash which we would like to attribute to the NVIDIA drivers but we are not for sure... and it can happen in SPEED or STAMINA or AUTO doesn't seem to matter

    what is consistent is that the crashes all freeze the computer completely (no alt-ctrl-del) and that the fan noise increases as soon as the crash happens and stay high until the computer is shutdown by holding the power button

    there are numerous threads on this matter but no final solution... even those with the modded NVIDIA drivers are not completely stable

    is there any way to record the processes before the crash and somehow read them after restart?

    it has been a few days before my crash, then i start heavily editing video with filters in Virtualdub and bam 4 crashes in 1 hour... so at least mine seems to be CPU related (which explains increased fan noise on every crash)
