    Hey guys

I've had my Vaio Z11MN/B with a C2D P8400, 4GB RAM, 200GB HDD and 9300M GS for a few years now, and I love it to bits.... but....

A year or so ago, the screen got damaged, so now I have 2 vertical lines of dead pixels (only 1 pixel wide each but quite noticeable....)

I was wondering, could I replace the screen on this laptop (which is 1366x768) with a screen that I sourced on ebay which was designed for the higher end model, which has a 1600x900 resolution or not? I want to upgrade this laptop to give it a new lease of life (I was thinking 128GB SSD, maybe a CPU upgrade to one of the faster C2D as well) but I don't want to do that without fixing the screen....

    Cheers in advance
    Vik

EDIT: Ooops, I posted this where it said don't post it. Don't suppose a mod could kindly move it? :) Sorryyy.....
