    I constantly seem to hear a high pitch hum when my vaio z is output via the hdmi port. the sound comes though the external speakers attached to my DELL 24" monitor.

    vaio z (hdmi)-> dell 24" (speaker out)-> bose companion 3

    anybody know why i am getting that kind of crosstalk?
    the problem is significantly exaggerated when I use some sort of benchmark programs on the SSD or run programs on the CPU? I am not sure which one causes it, but for example if I run disk's benchmarks on the ssd using aida , then the noise gets alot more wild.

    anybody know what i'm talking about yet?

    EDIT:
    Ok the problem appears to be the BOSE Companion 3. Early models of this audio speakers had a problem emitting a buzz/hum when the 2nd input was connected on the volume pod.
