I have one question about my purchase of the Z2.

    Are hardware mods possible?
For example: Can I replace the WWAN Card with something which I use, like an Minipcie to USB or Minipcie to dual mini SD Card adaptercard?
    Is the wlan card replaceable?
Can I replace the SSDs like in my Z11?

And are there some modding guides?

For software modding, I plan to use the hacked bios but I do not know if this one gives me some advantages... Is it useful to do this and especially WHAT can I do with the hacked Bios?

    Thank you very much ;)

The only mod I personally was thinking of is to reinforce the gates of the sd/memory stick. When you remove the battery you can see there's room behind the housing to do so. It can prevent the thin metal to bend inwards, which annoys me on a daily basis...

Yeah I'm thinking about it, because this really sucks, it's a design issue.

The other mod I'm often thinking about is making a convenient eGPU setup. (more or less)

But it seems it won't be as easy as I hoped...

But I have a new idea I need to think more about it.

Is it possible to do some modding to the PMD?
Like switching the DVD to BD or adding an internal USB hub for some USB peripherals?

I dont think they are soldered to the mainboard, but they are proprietary. The ones on ebay doesnt look like the ones from the motherboard picture.
