I have a FW455J that I am trying to figure out whether I want to do an upgrade or a clean install on. I'm wondering whether or not I'll lose any functionality by conducting a clean install using the upgrade media.

Any of you folks tried this? If so, have you lost any functionality?

I usually not a big fan of OEM bloatware but there is a few apps that sony has preinstalled on my notebook that I actually kind of like.

Just as a side note, I am only speaking of notebooks that are actually W7 supported.
