Hey guys! I'm new to this forum.
My names Pete, I own a vaio sve14aa11w.
It's been a good laptop, I've had the hdd die which I replaced with an SSD

Recently had a few friends over and one of them knocked his drink all over it. Frantically I dried it out and it was okay but the screen got fluid under it thus rendering it useless. At this stage the backlight worked, I just had a bad picture.
I bought a new screen and all was well but I had no backlight.
I've searched high and low on the net and read through old threads in an attempt to try and identify the fuse responsible for the backlight...
To no avail I have signed up here in hopes someone more techy than I can help me :)

I've got two photos front and back of the area around the connector, if you'd like a Better picture let me know!

    Thanks in advance :)

Hello! I'm new in this forum, and I need your help, my laptop backlight just "passed away" it's a similiar model, and the photos of the board are just like mine. How did you fix it?
