Hey all. My vaio 780 is doing something odd.
    Running windows XP.
I have a screensaver come on after 10 minutes of inactivity, then i have the power scheme set to turn my monitor off after 15 minutes, and my hard drive after 20.

Sometimes (seems to happen more and more often), when i go use the computer the screen won't come back on! Moving the touchpad or pressing keys, nothing. I think it's working with the screen off, if i press the power button it starts a shutdown procedure, so it's not just locked up.
To get out of this no-screen mode, i close the lid and put it in standby, then open it again, and the screen comes back on no problem!

Any ideas why it's doing this? Is this a WinXP issue with the vaio drivers or....

    thanks!
