    ey there
i was wondering how is your experience with you guys and windows 8....

i have a vpcsa model , i upgraded and regretted it first, it seemed to be stuck at speed mode with the fans going craaazy

i upgraded my catalyst to the beta windows 8 release and the noise stopped, but judging by my battery lasting only 3.5 hours, i think its still stuck on speed mode

    so how are doing ?

    regards
    ahmed

Put it on my Vaio Z2 for a bit but the 3d card didn't work when I docked it. Also had some strange issue with the brightness droping to 0 randomly and the battery read out.

I'll wait for the full relase, hopefully sony has software for all its stuff by that time.

On Vaio Z1 it runs very smooth :) Boot time is faster than to Win7 and I like the new "Start"!

Now i haven´t installed the Drivers for GFX and the Sony stuff, so some some things don´t work -> GFX switch or brightness control...

I think, when Win8 comes out at october or so I will buy it and use it!
