Hallo,
I read in a other Forum, I can only install the OS on a Vaio Notebook, when I buy i from Sony. Is this so?

I'm a bit confused by your question. Sony notebooks come with the OS installed. There is no option to have no OS installed, as far as I know. If, for some reason, you had a sony notebook with no OS, you'd have a hard time installing it yourself because drivers for some of the hardware are difficult to locate for Sonys

If you use any other OS not received from Sony, even a retail copy of the same OS Sony sold you, do not expect any support from Sony. You may get some help but at the end of the day you are going to get told your setup is not supported. REGARDLESS of whether it should work or not. REGARDLESS of whether esupport.sony.com has driver downloads for the OS or tips for installing your own copy of an OS.
So you have installed something else and you want full, complete support? Do F10, Restore C: Drive, or reload from recovery DVDs if you made/bought them. -
which windows? vista or xp? You can get Windows on any computer. not JUST sony.
