    Hey everyone,

I bought my Vaio TT11XN in august. I orderd the upgrade of windows 7 and installed it (fresh and upgrade) everything works, except for my battery. In vista I get 6 hours of battery on a full battery, but in windows 7 I get a max of 2.5 hours. Does anyone know what the problem is? I installed the drivers that came on the dvd that was in my upgrade kit and I installed the drivers of vaio-link.com but I still get 2.5 hours of battery life. But still this doesnt work, so I moved to vista again :-(

    Thanks in advance.

No such problems for me. I am using the TT4 drivers here.

You especially need the control centre, event service, power management, chipset, graphics card drivers, Setting Utility Series, spic driver and the sfep driver. It would also be a good idea to install the Sony Shared Library.

Using the silent setting (which i think undervolts the CPU) combined with power saver I can get at least 8hrs battery life with 40% brightness and wifi and this is the case for me also in W7 with a fully charged battery using the standard 59whr battery.

    Edited to add:
Make sure you upgrade to the latest BIOS also.
