This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I am just wondering what the word in the rumor mill is on this topic.

    I'm sure that once the ATI Ocur (or whatever it is called now) finally gets approved and on the market that at least the desktop and home theatre models will pick up cable card support.

    what do you think will happen with the laptops?

    i would love to see an SZ with external cable card support -- i would instantly buy that with a dock and hook it up to my dell 2405.

    your thoughts?
