I know the Sony TZ series comes with a Sprint wireless card already built in. But I was just wondering if I wanted to get Verizon subscription instead of Sprint, would the laptop be compatible with Verizon? Would I just have to buy an external Verizon card?

    Thanks :)

Unless you swapped the card out internally with one that worked with Verizon, no the provided card will not work. You could get an external card (or the USB version) and that would work.

Not many places sell the OEM card that would work with Verizon to replace the Sprint one, and you'd have to have some know-how to do it.
