    Hi

What is the vertical viewing angle like on the 15.6 E-Series Plus? Cant find one near me to check out, all shops have laptops with 1366x768 and suffer from the colours banding/fading if you dont get your head right.

A friend has a 15.6 Dell with the HD screen which is really good rich colours and no real viewing angle issues . But have heard this is a particularly good screen and comes at a much higher cost think it was about £130

Sony seem to do 2 HD Displays Plus and Vaio Premium

Is the Plus much better than a standard display non HD display and has better viewing angles, or is it just a case of being higher res?

How does it compare the dell?

    Thanks

If you look around, you can find some resellers who allow you to upgrade the screen. I've not seen this on Vaio though. Have on Asus and Sager. My F11 screen is far from great. If I go too far off axis, colors actually reverse - light becomes dark, dark becomes light.
