    So situation is:

Laptop won't start up. Battery in & power cable in. Charger tested and fine. There is occasionally a flash of the green light when I press the power button, but that's it. When I try again immediately after there is nothing. Again occasionally a battery charge light for about 5 seconds when first plugged in. Also no life with power in but battery out.

Disconnected the CMOS battery from the underneath and left for half hour then reconnected' but again to no avail. I've also cleaned fan and checked connections that I can get to under keyboard are seated.

the laptop originally went off in the middle of streaming Netflix to my TV via HDMI, with no warning.

Any help please. I really want to taking to a repairer to be the last resort.

    Thanks guys.
