    hello. I'm seriously considering to buy the Sony vaio VGN-FW270J/H because I believe it does support a 32-bit operative system. Has any body tried this laptop with the 32-bit windows vista? does it work ok with it?

    From looking at the Sony site those models (260 & 270) both come with Home Premium 64 bit.
    64 bit will run 32 bit programs just fine. Is there a specific reason only want 32 bit? Also both appear to have 4GB of RAM installed, 64 bit can recognize and use all of it.
