    Hello,
I'm new here so please don't flame right away! I have a Sony vgn-sz670n that doesn't turn on anymore. I am the only owner of this laptop and this is the first time it has been taken apart. So I figured I would get a new MB and processor while I have it apart. However I cant figure out which processor to buy! The socket on the board is mPGA479M (which I think means a socket M) but the processor is a LF80537 T7700 (which I think is a socket P). I want to buy top of the line parts for college and this computer is nice and light to carry around so I want to save it! I was thinking about buy the T9800 processor for the 6mb cashe and the higher bus speed.

Thank you all for the help!
    Phil
