    anyone got any good any good tweaking hints for the Sony Vaio VGN-TX750P

    1.2Ghz Pentium M
    2.5GB of DDR3 Ram
    no Graphics cards and a 80GB HDD (5400RPM)

    basically load up time speed up and general performance without overclocking it :\ picky i know :p

    If I'm right, this notebook comes with DDR2 memory. And if you didn't upgrade that HDD, it should be 4200 rpm. If you want some real speed up, you should take a look at SSDs, but it wouldn't be cheap.

    And if you're talking just about software tweaking, I noticed nice speed up after I changed theme to Windows Classic in XP :)

    its loaded with vista though and i dont know about the specs its my uncles you see and i just ran some general tweaks and that on it on load up and shut down time but wasnt what i got out of my XPS M1730 :/

    Your XPS M1730 is surely a bit different class of powerful machine :) I would say for TX the WinXP (or Win7) are more suitable. I guess you already checked the NBR Member Vist@ Tips and Tweaks Guide thread?

    yeah did that for my dell but as i said my uncle is more of a mibile man that anything lol so i wa slooking for him but itf theres nothing dont worry about it
