I have had my 14" C series Viao laptop for 2 years now (mfg. may 2011, early 2011 model). I have done a lot of travelling with it and never cleaned it and over the past 3 or 4 months it has began to run very hot (particularly the middle/left part where the fan exhaust is) and the fan runs almost constantly. I'm thinking its from dust buildup so I think I will take it apart to clean the dust out. However I've never done this with a laptop so need some guidance (anyone who has done this with this exact model would be great). Is it just removing the panels on the back or will I have to remove any actual components? I tried finding a guide video for this model but I couldn't find one.

Also I'm considering trying to clean the keyboard (the actual keys, not using compressed air to get the dust out) and was wondering if there is a way to do this without removing individual keys. In the past with laptops I've set the laptop upside down with the keyboard exposed and gently run soapy water over it, but I'm wondering if there is a better way.

    Thanks
