    Can anyone advise, how to check for different hardware problems. When i turn on this laptop, i often get a pale blue screen, with nothing on, what so ever. Sony support say it may be a hardware problem. It is 18 months old and done this from new. Recently it has got worse. Now they say i will have to pay for a repair. How do i perform checks on it. Sony claim it must go back to them, is this true. I think Sony support is very poor, and unhelpful. Any help would be appreciated.
