    Hey all
I seem to have a video glitch on my Vaio VGN-FS660. It is a thin line that runs from top to bottom. It is not the monitor. I believe that my computer was bumped or dropped a little hard one day. When laptop is on, the line is just after the O in VAIO on the desktop. You can clearly see it on the Windows XP startup. Was wondering if anyone knows of an easier or inexpensive way to correct this problem. I have attached a couple of pictures. It is easiest to see in the picture of a game I ran on the computer.
All pictures were taken after computer was turned on. No line exists when computer is off.

    Thanks

It is the monitor or an internal connection. When it's turned off there's no way the line could be there. If it's there during a startup, while on your desktop, or in the middle of a game it's definately the monitor. You'll most likely have to call Sony to replace it or just fix it.

Keep in mind I could be totally wrong but that would be my first thought.

No, when the computer is off, there is no line. I was wondering if it could be the video card?
