I have a VGN-FZ21E with nVIDIA Ge Force 8400M GT graphics card and Vista OS. For some unknown reason, the HDMI and S-Video outputs to my Sony TV have stopped working. Has anyone any idea as to what the reason might be please? I have checked the TV inputs and they are working OK.

Note sure about that, but in regards to the S-Video connection, I've not been able to use mine since Vista with the original Sony Driver, but never had an issue with HDMI, which I use frequently.

Does it register a connection on your laptop?

I've had another go at the problem today and it would seem to be something to do with display settings for monitor No.1 (laptop) and monitor No.2 (TV). I managed to get a connection via HDMI, but with sound only, so I abandoned that and decided to change user, there being two of us who use this laptop. Hey presto, it works with the second user. Thanks for responding to my problem UserofFZ21E.

There's your problem, something is a little wonky in your settings... maybe a corrupted or missing file. Try re-installing your nVidia drivers.
