    Vista VS. XP on battery life?

    any difference in Battery life when you upgrade to Vista?

    Specifically on the SZ model

    yeah, not a whole lot, but a significant difference since vista uses more graphics than xp, think about it this way, whatever gpu u have, the more load, the less its idle, and thus more battery its using. the more powerful ur gpu, the more battery life consumption, kind of like a regular, plus, and premium car... the premium gives u way more power, but a regular engine will still get u there just uses less gas!

    battery life may decrease at the most by a few minutes but not significantly though if my understanding is correct

    wow i thought maybe vista would give you more battery life. But i guess not and a decrease by few mins. aint bad at all condsidering my last lappy got 1hr and 30min on a celeron m processor

    battery life also depends on the components too rather than the os if u got a faster hdd a high end graphic card there will will a decrease in battery time but that too not that great and it also depends on the battery and its capacity as well as the amount of wear on the battery
