I'm having problem with vista and wifi/lan with my sz120p.

My wifi/lan connection will disconnect when I lock my computer.
let's say I'm downloading a huge file and I need to go away, I win+L to lock the computer, comeback in 5 minutes and unlock it. The wifi/lan will reconnects and the download was stopped. This is very annoying. Isn't locking the computer leaves everything as they are. At least that's how it worked in previus windoes, anyone got any ideas.

Yes it is suppose to leave it as it is when it's locked.

 Are you sure it's not just a dodgey wireless connection and gets disconnected while you're away from the computer and you're thinking its to do with the "locking" function?

Cause I'm using Vista + Wi-Fi + Locking without any problems.

I am on an SZ4 with pre-installed Vista Business.

The weird thing about WiFi on mine is that it will usually reconnect immediately once I resume from standby or hibernation (long enough to download some e-mail...), then it disconnects and takes usually 30-60 seconds to reconnect again. VERY annoying! Is this how it works for others?

I always get a fair to good connection, no drop connections at all. It just bugs me I can't lock it when I need to download a huge file over night or run bt while it's locked. In several incidences, when it comes back on from hibernation, the wifi adaptor would not detect any wifi connections. And I had to turn off and then on the wifi adapter via the button under the LCD and recheck the 2.4 to be enabled , then everything will work again. It worked flawlessly under WINXP, but now Vista is giving me so much problems.
