Ok, I got my Vista business upgrade dvd for my UX280p. I did a upgrade/overlay over my XP on the UX280P. I do have some questions, it may be mixed up but please answer anything you may know. This might pertain to the SZ*** upgrade dvd also.

I noticed that it says in the readme it's for the SZ series too. Theres no product number so maybe Sony is using one DVD for all upgrades. I do see in teh "silver" hub part the nubmers:6001277 and IFPI lk79. Anybody with the SZ upgrade dvd can check if thats what their dvd looks like? So...

    1) I didn't try it yet, but does anybody know if I can use this DVD to upgrade/patch my SZ160p? Instead of dloading all the patches from the net?
    2) Since I bought the Ultimate full edition, can I substitute the key and do a full ultimate edition installation? (Either for the UX280p or my SZ160p) I did notice the first time I tried to install the updgrade, it said I didn't have enough room to do a upgrade and that it wanted me to do a full installation. I didn't want to chance it because well..my wow game was installed and would take me hours to put it back on. And since this DVD said "upgrade" I didn't know if it would erase everything then fail saying I didn't have XP on the computer.
    3) Which brings up, can I do a clean installation with this dvd?
    4) Anybody getting errors after upgrading? I noticed that on the UX280p, I get BSOD when I try and use the ***m buttons. SOmething called APC_INDEX_MISMATCH I have no idea if the program for the ***m is causing that or something else is causing a conflict. I don't know what APC index is. Whys the letters "z o o" from the word "***m" being blocked?

I'm guessing you're answering my #2 question. Hmm. I was gonna skip putting in my serial # untill after installation in case I was going to use this dvd on my SZ160p computer. When I did that, it asked what version of Vista I wanted on the computer. Including the ultimate. I think the serial number is the key on what version you have. I know it sounded like I answered my own question, but since I didn't try that, I still dont know if what I said is true.
