Has anyone tried installing Vista on a VAIO VGN-S270 or any S-Series VAIO laptop? Sony hasn't put out drivers for it yet. Any idea on how to get this machine running smoothly with Vista? Thanks!

:D DOOOOOOOOOOM!!! Haaaaaaaaaa! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! I laugh!

    You're done for.

Sony only supports S4 series upwards

I have S580P & Vista runs like HELL!!! due to lack of support.

Sony only posted 3 drivers to date (bluetooth, VGA, Battery Check)

VGA driver makes my screen flicker all the time. In-box driver more stable

No Audio. Well actually in-box driver is a lil'bit managable.

Welcome to HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!...

    That wasnt very nice

Sony will support S series sometime. Sony EU already posted Vista graphic driver for Ati card (which is for S150, S170, s270, etc). Audio driver also will be posted soon. Just wait.

I was just kidding. I only said that cause Sony has not posted any drivers for S3 and below.
