Is there anyone who received an e-mail regarding Vista Express Upgrade and Driver DVD kit? Sony had suggested the timeframe for the upgrade 2 to 4 weeks following the commercial release of respective Vista version.

My SZ360 qualifies for Vista Business. And the Vista Business has already been released, on 1 of December I guess.

Vista is only available to corporate/technet/msdn customers. End of January for consumers.

How did you submit your paperwork? I faxed mine over, and still haven't received any confirmation apart from that initial email requesting proof of purchase.. that was two days ago.

I scanned Order paper and the receipt then sent them by email. In 30 minutes got the final confirmation.

Probably seems like the best bet. Maybe I'll do that too.

Everyone knows how easy it is to misplace faxes. ;)

I had to fax mine, everytime I tried emailing it, either pasting the text into an email or attaching a pdf, the email bounces back. (I am using my hotmail account.)
    Anyone else have this problem?

Seems like their fax lines are now busy. Probably getting a lot of faxes. Going to mail mine.

Ok, so the Vista Express Upgrade is available in the UK, France, Germany etc. when will it be available in Ireland?? Anybody heard anything? Ireland exports billions of $ of software you know, would be handy to have the latest Windows OS at the same time as the rest of the world :p

I am just waiting for the hassles that are on the horizon for the new users of Vista it would appear they have got no better in sorting the flaws of the new OS. I have enough problems with Sony as It is without tempting fate.
But All the best with Vista guy.

    Regards
    Chris Wright
