    Volume Control Doesn't Work

    My niece recently gave me her old VAIO PCG-XG29.

    The hardware volume control is disabled.

    The Fn key seems to be disabled too.

    I'm running Windows 2000 on it.

    I'd be grateful for some help getting the volume control working because I use this machine to listen music on headphones, and the software volume control is unwieldy.

    You need to install the drivers and program for the hotkeys. Check the sony website. Might not be available for Win 2000.

    I think thats bcoz u didnt install drives with correct order
